Working with a Japanese scrap yard,
we extract unused airbags from discarded vehicles
and carefully clean and dye them,
transforming them into refined materials ready for a second life.
スクラップ工場協力のもと、廃棄される車から不要となったエアバッグを取り出して再利用します。
オイルの洗浄、染色を行い綺麗な状態のエアバッグに戻します。

Because airbags are three-dimensional and bag-shaped,
they cannot be processed by cutting machines.
Each airbag is carefully cut by hand, allowing us to reduce material waste
and make the most of every piece.
袋状のエアバッグは機械による裁断が出来ない為、1枚ずつ手で裁断を行い生地にしていきます。
手で裁断を行うことで廃棄される部分が少ないメリットもあります。
Once transformed into fabric, the airbags are repurposed as shoe uppers.
Their inherent strength allows us to create highly durable footwear.
生地になったエアバッグを靴のアッパー部分として再利用しています。
エアバッグを使用することで耐久性の高い靴が完成します。
