ミリタリーシューズからインスピレーションを受けてデザインした、足袋型スニーカー。

素材には、自動車に使用されていたエアバッグのナイロン素材を採用しています。

サステナブルな取り組みとして、廃棄される車両から未使用のエアバッグを回収し、アップサイクル素材として再利用しています。

アッパーに使用しているエアバッグ素材には、奄美大島の伝統技法であるテーチギ染めを施しています。

1点ずつ職人の手で染色しているため、それぞれ異なる表情を楽しむことができます。

また、空気に触れることで経年変化していく素材の風合いも特徴のひとつです。

木型には、つま先にゆとりを持たせたオリジナルラストを採用。ワイズはD〜E程度の設計となっています。

アッパーとソールは足袋のように分かれた構造となっており、裸足に近い感覚で歩行できるため、快適な履き心地を実現しています。

また、地面をしっかり捉えるような感覚が生まれ、足本来の動きを活かした自然な歩行をサポートします。

サイズは、足の実寸より約0.5〜1cmほど余裕を持ってお選びいただくのがおすすめです。

つま先に適度な空間を持たせることで、指がしっかり開き、快適に着用いただけます。

普段履かれているスニーカーに、すでにつま先約1cm程度の余裕がある場合は、同じサイズをお選びください。

tabitoは独自のサイズ表記を採用しているため、必ずcm表記をご確認ください。

オリジナルシューズボックスは4方向で連結可能な仕様となっており、スタッキングして収納を楽しむことができます。

Tabi sneakers inspired by military footwear.

The upper is made using nylon airbags originally designed for automobiles.

As part of a sustainable initiative, unused airbags recovered from discarded vehicles are upcycled and reused as materials for the shoes.

The airbag material used on the upper is hand-dyed using “Techigi-zome,” a traditional dyeing technique from Amami Oshima, Japan.

Each pair is individually dyed by hand, creating unique variations in texture and appearance.

The material will also develop a rich character over time through exposure to air and aging.

Built on tabito’s original last with extra toe room, the shoe features a D–E width for a comfortable fit.

The split upper and sole construction, inspired by traditional Japanese tabi footwear, creates a barefoot-like feel and provides comfort with every step.

The design also allows the toes to spread more naturally, supporting a stable and natural walking experience.

For sizing, we recommend choosing approximately 0.5–1 cm larger than your actual foot length.

Providing enough room in the toe area allows your toes to spread naturally for a more comfortable fit.

If your current sneakers already provide around 1 cm of space in the toe area, we generally recommend selecting your usual size.

Please note that tabito uses its own sizing system, so be sure to refer to the centimeter measurements before selecting your size.

The original shoebox features a unique interlocking design that connects on all four sides, allowing multiple boxes to be stacked and stored together.
